A Ride on the Cross Bike

The tri bike is all packed up for my flight tomorrow and the road bike is on the trainer, so I headed out today on the cross bike. What fun! It was cold and foggy to start and I was bundled up with bike shorts, long cycling tights, arm warmers, jersey, undershirt, vest and full gloves. And one of Erika's hats (www.tribabe.com). I was still chilled!

The wind was blowing in from the ocean, so the first part of the ride was into the wind. I rode through Ft. Mason and along the waterfront, but then turned and headed up into the Presidio. There are lots of trails in there and pretty much all hills. Had a lot of fun and rode 1:45 altogether.
